AUTHOR'S POV:

That apartment

Rashita's life began to fall into a comforting routine with the loving couple.

They showered her with affection, treating her like their own daughter.

As she settled into her new rhythm, Rashita found solace in the couple's love and support.

A week had passed since the interview, and Rashita had immersed herself in her new life with the loving couple.

She had learnt the intricacies of everyday life, from haggling at the vegetable shop to navigating the local transportation.

Her days were filled with the simple joys of cooking delicious meals and practicing yoga every morning.

Rashita had also found solace in spirituality, accompanying her aunt to the temple and worshiping with devotion.

The peaceful atmosphere and the couple's warmth had brought a sense of calm and contentment to her life.

She had begun to enjoy the quiet moments, finding happiness in the mundane tasks and the love that surrounded her.

As she went about her day, Rashita felt a sense of gratitude for this new chapter in her life.

The couple's love and support had given her a chance to rediscover herself, and she was slowly finding her footing in this new world.

With each passing day, Rashita felt more at peace, her heart filled with joy and her spirit renewed.

Sunday, 5am..

Alarm rang....

She woke up,

Her bedroom

As Rashita stepped onto the balcony, the gentle morning breeze caressed her skin.

She spread out her mat and began her yoga routine, moving through the poses with grace and precision.

The sun slowly rose, casting a warm glow over the surroundings. After an hour of yoga and meditation, Rashita felt refreshed.

She headed to take a shower, letting the cool water wash away the morning dew. As she dressed in the beautiful purple anarkali, she felt like a vision of elegance.

The intricate embroidery on the fabric caught the light, and her bangles sparkled on her wrists.

She adorned herself with beautiful earrings, and her hair was styled in loose waves.

As she got ready, Rashita hummed a soft tune, her voice barely audible.

The melody was soothing, and she seemed lost in the moment, enjoying the simple pleasure of getting dressed up.

The purple anarkali suited her perfectly, and she felt like a queen, ready to take on the day.

After completing her morning routine, Rashita performed her daily puja with devotion, lighting the diyas and offering prayers.

The fragrance of incense sticks filled the air as she chanted and sought blessings.

With a sense of peace and tranquility, she wrapped up her puja and prepared to head out to the temple with her aunt.

Rashita carried her beautiful basket filled with hibiscus flowers, each one a symbol of her devotion to Maa Durga.

Her aunt joined her, and together they set off towards the temple.

As they arrived at the mandir, the air was filled with the sound of chanting and the fragrance of incense.

With reverence, they performed their puja, offering the flowers and prayers to Maa Durga.

The arti began, and Rashita's eyes closed in devotion as the priest waved the lamp, symbolising the dispelling of darkness and ignorance.

The rhythmic chanting and the sound of the bells created a sense of spiritual connection, and Rashita felt a deep sense of peace and tranquility wash over her as she worshiped the goddess.

As Rashita returned home with her aunt, they exchanged warm goodbyes before Rashita stepped into her beautiful flat.

She quickly changed out of her temple attire into a comfortable dress, shedding the elegant anarkali for something more relaxed.

In the kitchen, Rashita's culinary skills shone as she prepared a mouthwatering breakfast of crispy puri, flavorful jeera aloo, and refreshing cucumber raita.

Her kitchen

The aromas wafted through the air, teasing her senses and building her anticipation for the meal.

After dinner, Rashita removed her apron, feeling content and satisfied.
She settled in front of the TV, clicked on her favorite Korean drama, and savored the last bites of her dinner.

The engaging storyline and delicious food combined to create a perfect evening, one that Rashita enjoyed with a happy heart.

In evening,

Rashita's dusting paused as her phone rang, displaying an unknown number.

She answered, "Hello!" A professional voice on the other end asked, "Is this Rashita Chandravanshi?" Rashita confirmed, "Yes!"

The caller announced, "I am calling from Oberoi Enterprises. Congratulations, mam! You got the job."

Rashita's eyes widened in surprise, and a mix of emotions crossed her face.

The caller continued, "Tomorrow at 9 am is your reporting time." Rashita's mind began racing with excitement and anticipation as she processed the news.

As soon as Rashita hung up the call, she couldn't contain her excitement.

She played her favorite song and started dancing around the room, lost in the joy of getting the job.

The happiness she thought she had lost had finally returned.

With sweets in hand, Rashita rushed to the puja room to share the good news with her "duga maa" .

She offered sweets and thanked her with folded hands.

Next, she hurried to her uncle and aunt's home, beaming with pride.

They were overjoyed upon hearing the news and showered her with blessings, saying, "Isse tarha khush raho beta! Aur khub aage badho!" (May you always be this happy, child! And may you progress further!)

They shared the sweets, and Rashita invited them over for dinner, saying, "Aaj dinner mera ghar pe kijiye, ok!"

They nodded in agreement, and Rashita returned home to start preparing for her new role and the evening's celebration.

Rashita's culinary skills shone as she prepared a delectable dinner spread, featuring dishes like matar paneer, palak paneer with naan, and puri with salads and raita.

As she worked, she also decorated her home with care, creating a warm and inviting atmosphere.

At 8 pm, her uncle and aunt arrived, bearing gifts for her, including a formal dress for her first day at the new job.

Rashita's eyes welled up with emotion as she saw the dress, remembering the journey she had been on.

She had lost her identity, her name, and her career, but now everything was falling into place.

The dress symbolised a new beginning, and Rashita felt a sense of renewal and hope.

The evening was filled with laughter and warmth as they enjoyed the meal together, watched a movie, and shared stories.

After a lovely evening, her uncle and aunt headed back home.

Rashita then tidied up the house and began preparing for the next day, laying out her outfit and getting everything ready for her first day at Oberoi Enterprises.

With a heart full of gratitude and excitement, she drifted off to sleep, ready to embark on her new journey.

Her bedroom

As screen shift:

Nirved stepped out of the car and ascended to room , where a figure stood gazing out the window.

As Nirved approached, the man didn't turn around, his eyes fixed at some point outside.

Nirved's voice was laced with urgency and apology as he said, "I am really sorry!"

The man's tone was icy and menacing as he replied without turning, "You know, if this hadn't happened, I would have killed you!" Nirved's eyes widened slightly at the threat, but he maintained his composure.

Nirved's voice was firm as he explained, "But what I did .... she is my mother, and how I controlled my anger!" The man's silence was palpable, and Nirved continued, "Now, you need to clear up all the confusion and tell her the truth."

The tension between them was thick, and Nirved's words hung in the air, awaiting the man's response.

The man's response was firm and resolute. "No, you will give her the divorce, and I'll take care of the rest. If she finds out the truth, she'll definitely hate me, and I don't want that to happen."

Nirved tried to interject, "But the marriage...", but the man cut him off with a curt "I'll manage."

Nirved nodded, then shared his plans, "Okay, but I'm heading to Europe in three days. Someone informed me they've found Anvi."

The man's expression changed, and he turned to Nirved with a hint of warmth, saying, "Congratulations, Nirved. I'm sorry, bro. You know me, I don't want to see her cry."

Nirved smiled faintly and replied, "It's okay. Now, I should get going."

After seeing Nirved off, the man's demeanor shifted back to a sense of urgency.

He pulled out his phone and dial a number, his voice tense and commanding as he said, "Get the papers ready! Everything needs to be wrapped up within a week!" The air was thick with tension.

The next day,

Rashita followed her daily routine in a hurry, rushing through her morning activities after returning from the temple.

She quickly prepared her lunch box, glancing at the clock as it neared 8:30 AM.

With a sense of urgency, she got dressed in the formal attire gifted by her uncle and aunt, adding a touch of elegance with simple earrings, styled her hair neatly, wore her watch and little amount of sindur (she never forgot).

Her formal attire

Her formal attire
Her earrings
Her watch
Her bag

With her bag in hand, Rashita locked her door and headed out to find an auto-rickshaw.

Her uncle and aunt wished her good luck, blessing her for a successful first day.

After a 15-minute ride, she arrived at her destination just as the clock struck 9:00 AM.

With a slight rush, Rashita hurried to report for her new job, her heart racing with excitement and anticipation.

She took a deep breath, composed herself, and walked in with confidence.

The assistant escorted Rashita to her cabin, and as she settled into her new workspace, she couldn't help but feel a sense of nostalgia wash over her.

The familiar surroundings and the hum of office activity brought back memories of her "old golden days."

She took a moment to compose herself, feeling a renewed sense of purpose.

Just five minutes later, a staff member arrived with a bundle of files, handing them over to Rashita with a courteous smile.

She took a deep breath, mentally preparing herself for the tasks ahead, and began working diligently.

Unaware to Rashita, her cabin was situated in a strategic location - directly in front of the chairman's cabin, occupied by Siddharth.

A sleek, automatic transparent wall separated their workspaces, allowing Siddharth to potentially observe Rashita's cabin without being overtly noticeable.

Rashita remained focused on her work, unaware of this unique aspect of her new office setup.

As Rashita finished half of her work, lunchtime arrived.

She unwrapped her lunch and placed it on her desk.

Inadvertently, she clicked a button, and her surroundings suddenly changed.

At first, she felt a surge of nervousness, her eyes darting around the room.

But then, her gaze landed on the wall in front of her, which had transformed into a transparent view of the adjacent cabin.

Her eyes widened in surprise as she took in the unexpected scene.

She felt a mix of shock and embarrassment, her face growing warm.

The unexpected view had caught her off guard, and she struggled to process what she was seeing.

Her eyes were fixed on the scene, and she couldn't look away, even though she knew she probably should.

Siddharth Singh Oberoi was changing his shirt in his cabin, unaware that the wall had become transparent.

Rashita's eyes widened as she saw him shirtless, his muscular physique visible. She was frozen in place, unsure of how to react.

Siddharth, still facing away, had no idea he was being watched.

However, as he slowly turned towards the wall, his expression changed from calm to shocked.

He quickly turned around, grabbed his shirt, and put it on hastily.

His face turned red with surprise and embarrassment.

The sudden turn of events left both Rashita and Siddharth in an awkward situation, each unsure of how to proceed

Siddharth's face was bright red with embarrassment as he quickly turned off the transparency feature.

He composed himself and walked into Rashita's cabin, attempting to lighten the mood with a gentle tease: "Zinda ho Miss Lawyer?" (Are you alive, Miss Lawyer?)

Rashita snapped out of her frozen state, stood up, and began apologizing profusely: "Sorry, sir! Sorry! It's my mistake, sorry!" Siddharth interrupted her, trying to reassure her: "It's okay, it's okay, Miss Lawyer! Kitna baar bologi! (How many times will you say it!) Please use this button thoughtfully in the future, okay?"
He pointed to the button and swiftly exited her cabin.

Rashita took a deep breath, thought to herself, "Is button ko kabhi nahi click karungi!"
(I'll never click this button again)

She composed herself and refocused on her work, her mind still reeling from the unexpected encounter.

The rest of her day was spent in a flurry of files and meetings, but the memory of that awkward moment lingered, making her wonder what other surprises this new job might hold.

As the day drew to a close, Rashita couldn't shake off the feeling of embarrassment and surprise.

She packed up her belongings and headed home, her mind replaying the events of the day.

The image of Siddharth's muscular physique and his subsequent embarrassment lingered in her thoughts, making her wonder what the future held for her in this new role.

As Rashita reached home, she noticed her uncle and aunt sitting in the garden, enjoying the evening Breeze.

It was around 6:30 pm.

Rashita walked up to them and asked gently, "Aaplog wahan kya kar rahe hain? Evening walk pe nahi gaye?"
(What are you doing here? Don't you go for an evening walk?)

Her uncle smiled and replied, "Hum dono tumhara intezar kar rahe the! Batao, aaj office ka pehla din kaisa tha?"
(We are waiting for you! How's your first day of office?)

Rashita's face lit up with excitement as she began sharing her day's experiences.

"Aaj ka din bahut accha tha! Mera ek personal cabin hai, wahan ke sare staff bahut acche hain. Aaj bahut saara kaam kiya aur meeting bhi, bahut maja aaya,"

(Today is such a beautiful day, I got my personal cabin and all the staff are so nice. today I worked so many things and also joined a meeting, I enjoyed the day so much.)

she said with a smile.

However, her expression changed slightly as she murmured, "Bas ek cheez chhod ke..."
(Left only one thing)

Her aunt's curiosity was piqued, and she asked, "Kya hua Rashita? Kya cheez....?"
(What Rashita which thing.?.)

But Rashita quickly changed the subject, not wanting to share the embarrassing incident with her uncle and aunt.

"Chaliye, na chai pite hain!"
(Let's go for a cup of tea)

she said, diverting the conversation and inviting them to join her for a cup of tea.

Her uncle and aunt exchanged a knowing glance, sensing that Rashita might be hiding something, but they didn't press the issue.

Instead, they nodded in agreement and followed Rashita to the house.

As they sat down in the living room, Rashita busied herself making tea in the kitchen.

As they sipped their tea, Rashita's uncle asked her about her plans for the weekend, and Rashita happily shared her thoughts on organizing her new apartment.

The conversation flowed smoothly, and Rashita felt grateful for the warm and loving atmosphere of her home.

As they finished their tea, uncle and aunty went to their home.

Rashita went to freshen up and change into night dress.

After that, she went to prepare dinner.

10 min late, Rashita sat down to enjoy the meal.

Once dinner was over, Rashita cleaned up and then headed to her room.

Feeling content and relaxed after a long day, Rashita climbed into bed.

She took a moment to reflect on her first day at the office, thinking about the new people she met and the work she accomplished.

With a sense of accomplishment and peace, she drifted off to sleep, ready to face another day at her new job.

Meanwhile,

Siddharth Singh Oberoi stood alone in his spacious, modern kitchen, surrounded by sleek appliances and marble countertops.

His luxury mansion felt emptier than usual, knowing his Amma had left for her six-month tirth yatra.

(Yes, he is a friend of Nirved)

Though he'd miss her warm presence, he was determined to take care of himself.

His mension

He decided to cook dinner for himself, a hobby he genuinely enjoyed. The all housekeeper is on a long holiday as Siddharth instructed them , Siddharth donned an apron and began preparing a simple yet satisfying meal.

His kitchen

As he chopped vegetables and stirred the pan, he felt a sense of satisfaction. Cooking wasn't just about sustenance; it was therapeutic for him. The aromas wafting from the kitchen brought a smile to his face, and he looked forward to savoring the flavors of his homemade dinner.

With Amma away, Siddharth relished the opportunity to showcase his culinary skills and take care of himself.

Siddharth stood in his kitchen, shirtless , a hint of a smile on his face as he recalled the day's events.

He chuckled to himself, thinking, "Pehle hi din baho mein aa gayi, dusra din shirtless dekh liya, you are so fast, Miss Lawyer."

As he stirred the pan, he shook his head, amused by the unexpected turn of events.
The memory of Rashita's shocked expression and her subsequent apologies brought a smirk to his face.

With a laugh, Siddharth continued cooking, looking forward to a peaceful evening alone in his mansion.

Siddharth sat down at the dining table, his plate of steaming hot food in front of him. He began to eat while simultaneously working on his laptop, a stack of papers and files beside him.

His bad habit of multitasking while eating was something he knew he should break, but he couldn't seem to shake it off.

As he took bites of his meal, he typed away on his laptop, his eyes darting between the screen and the documents.

His mind was focused on the work at hand, and he barely noticed the flavors of his cooking.

Despite knowing it wasn't the most elegant habit, Siddharth found that he worked more efficiently this way, and the solitude of his mansion allowed him to concentrate without distractions.

After finishing his dinner and work, Siddharth cleaned up the dining area and headed to his spacious bedroom.

He walked into his luxurious bathroom, where he indulged in a refreshing bath, letting the warm water wash away the day's stress.

His bedroom

His bathroom

The soothing ambiance and gentle hum of the bathroom's advanced features helped him unwind.

Once he was done, Siddharth wrapped himself in a comfortable robe and stepped out of the bathroom.

He changed into loose, comfortable clothes and climbed into bed, feeling the softness of the mattress and the coolness of the sheets.

With a contented sigh, he settled in for a well-deserved rest, his mind drifting off to sleep as he let the silence of the mansion envelop him.

The darkness of the room and the quietness of the night lulled him into a deep and peaceful slumber.

Next day::::::::

Rashita followed her usual routine, heading to the office in the morning and returning home after work. A typical day for her, filled with her responsibilities and tasks at the office.

Rashita was peacefully preparing her dinner when the doorbell rang, breaking the silence of her evening. She wiped her hands on a towel and made her way to the door, wondering who could be visiting at this hour. As she opened the door, her eyes widened in surprise, and she exclaimed,

"Aap???........"
